From the east and west: Route I-88 -take Oneonta exit 13 to State Highway 23

From the North: from Utica, take Route 8 South to South New Berlin, then route 23 to Oneonta, cross I-88.

From Points South:  Routes 28 and 23 go through Catskill range to Oneonta
